Bringing Balance Back into the Body
This quiet, meditative practise incorporates long hold, floor based stretches, calming breathing techniques & releases tension from both mind and body.
Hours spent sitting in front of screens, long commutes and busy (and often, stressful) lives create tension in the muscles and connective tissues of the body, affecting our posture, the way we hold ourselves and the mobility of our spine and joints.
Yin Yoga is a beautiful antidote to all of this.
We work with the breath to stretch and open areas of the body that have become blocked, boost blood flow to the spine and pelvis, improve our mobility (improving each joints range of motion) as well as working with guided meditations and mindfulness techniques to calm and focus the mind.
This practise is suitable for everyone (except our precious prenatal yoginis). Wear something comfortable that you can move freely in, including layers & socks so you stay warm.
