Restorative Yoga & Sound Bath Workshop
Give your body and mind a treat, and indulge in a nourishing sequence of restorative yoga poses, guided meditations and mindfulness & breathing exercises. To accompany and further deepen your practice, a Sound Bath will be facilitated. Sound has a powerful effect on our bodies, it can be cleansing, calming and/or uplifting and energising.
We use plenty of props to support us as we gently stretch and release tension from the muscles and joints. To finish there will be a guided relaxation (Savasana) so you can float all the way home.
The Benefits
Restorative yoga is used to trigger the parasympathetic nervous system, which is responsible for balancing and re-energising the whole body. By stimulating this system, you experience a lower heart rate, lower stress levels, and lower blood pressure. Typically we hold restorative poses from anywhere between 10-20 minutes to allow the body and mind to absorb the myriad of benefits.
What to bring
All are welcome to attend this workshop. Please wear comfortable loose clothing (bring layers so you stay warm and cosy!). We provide everything you need, but you can bring your own mat with you if you wish.
